Danielle Cruz and her husband purchased and renovated a home in Chicago, but after listing it for sale, they found out someone was already living there. A contractor showed up to make a repair to the presumably vacant house and reported to Cruz that someone was inside the home. He also told her all the locks had been changed. They thought he was joking but when they showed up with police, there was a young woman inside with all of her belongings.
Can The woman said she had signed a month-to-month lease with a “landlord,” and because she produced a lease, the police couldn’t ask her to vacate.
You and I have lots of squatters inhabiting our minds as well. Hatred, prejudice, anger and lust are all unwelcome guests from a lying landlord. Only through prayer and the power of God can they be evicted.
